LEVEL 1: REMEMBERING
What emotions are experienced in the story? Who experiences these emotions?
PROCEDURE
1. Brainstorm all kinds of different emotions. As a class, make a list of these emotions.
2. Read the book Frannie Saves the Day.
3. While reading, highlight or somehow mark any words describing a character's emotions.
4. Identify the character who is experiencing these emotions (can be done with post-its, a page of notes, Padlet/Wall Wisher, etc.).
