Stereotype Detective
LEVEL 6: CREATING
Come up with a solution. Improve the current status of gender stereotyping.
PROCEDURE
1. Think about the "ideal" person:

-What traits do matter?
-What stereotypical traits of both genders would the "ideal" person have? (Refer back to the Padlet/Wall Wisher Venn diagram)
2. Become a stereotype detective:
-Choose a form of media where gender stereotypes may be found
-Examples: catalogs, commercials, advertisements, textbooks, books, etc.--Be creative!

-Would you redesign the catalog?
-Would you recreate the advertisement?
-HOW?
